WHY ART?

The creation of Art, be it dance, music, fashion, poetry, painting, is vital to our expression of our emotions and communication of our thoughts to each other.  They enrich us in our present moments and gift our essence to future generations.  Art is not trivial or frivolous.  It is at the very core of culture, society, civilization, Spirituality, and in short, all that makes life worth living.  Without Art, in all forms, this world merely survives, not thrives.  Look around you.  Look outside.  See the beauty of nature.  Look inside your home.  See everything that is crafted, designed, fashioned.  Imagine a World without beauty or music..... Art, in all its forms, is the very essence of Self Awareness celebrating its Self.  When was the last time You danced, sang, listened to live music, went to a Art show or museum, went to a library, read a wonderful book?  These experiences are not luxuries. They are what bring joy in times of despair; peace in times stress; comfort in times of grief; hope in times of conflict.  Master Artists have helped bring about peace, healing, and inspiration.  Art has,  does and will help guide us to be our best as individuals, a culture and a World. The planet's greatest minds throughout history continue to enrich us only because the messages where transmitted in writing, song, dance and visual arts.  I have been inspired by the creativity of all that came before Me to see Myself at My highest potential.  Let us nurture all Children, intellectually and creatively, to see themselves as evolved beings seeking harmony and co-operation of all faiths and cultures in this most important century.  As a teacher, I know My thoughts and feeling will only endure if I communicate in Metaphors that transcend ever-changing language and express Myself through the Arts.  To this end, I am creating an series of Artworks to illustrate My thoughts and feelings on World Peace, Healing the Environment, Ending Hunger, curing all Disease.  As You enjoy My Art work, know that I most passionately transmit to you, be you Millennia in the future, All My love, Blessings and dreams for You of highest intentions, integrity, and excellence....SonRise is my first.....
